​The Lord ordained the church to be called Second Chance Restoration Ministries. During their three year season living in Daytona Beach, Florida, the Lord told Pastor Prophetess Betite very clearly that He had chosen her to go forth to Greensboro NC and start a Church.  He then revealed the name SCRM.

​She is truly a woman of inspiration and walks in the anointing of God. As she has touched so many lives throughout the years.  She truly walks in many offices and wears many hats.  She is a Prophet, Pastor/Shepherd, Evangelist, Preacher, Teacher, Spiritual mother to many, Mother of 3, Grandmother of 8 and wife to her best friend her Co-Pastor Daniel Parrish.  Pastor Betite has dedicated her life to helping others not only transform their circumstances but enrich their spiritual lives. As she says all the time "I just love people" and it shows in her daily walk with God.  For many years she worked in education in Syracuse NY.  She was saved at the age of 40 when she heard the voice of The Lord say "Many are called but few are chosen".  God continued to move in her life and sent her a man who truly loves The Lord and would love a wife as Christ loves the church. She worked many years in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in Syracuse, NY. While working in Hospitality she won many awards for her service and hard work.  She worked in the State Evangelist Department in the Western New York Jurisdiction 1 in COGIC. She loved working as an Evangelist and much of her work involved street ministry.   God moved her to work with the leading and teaching of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit used her to perform many healings (physically and spiritually). She also worked with Women in Prayer, Hospitality, Evangelism, and the Pastoral staff.  Pastor Betite also served on the Pastoral staff at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse, NY for three years. She held prayer meetings in her home every week and many women were delivered and healed.  She attended the School of the Prophets in Baldwinsville, NY, and was ordained a Prophetess.

In 2004, Prophetess Betite and her husband Daniel moved to Daytona Beach Florida, where they sat under the leadership and anointing of Dr. Willie Davis. She Graduated from International Seminary in Orlando with a Theology degree and was ordained into the ministry in 2005.  Twelve years later at the Lord's command she uprooted her life and moved to Greensboro, NC to start a church.  Second Chance Restoration Center Ministries was born in their apartment in Adams Farm with only a handful of new members, but has since grown and blossomed under her leadership.  Within several months they had an overflow of people and moved the congregation to its present location in Randleman Road and have been here for 5 years. Now she is also a business owner of Betite’s Boutique which opened its doors on June 4, 2016, where not only apparel and jewelry is being sold but souls are being won for the Kingdom. 

Pastor Betite with her husband continually prays and intercedes on behalf of her sheep, she constantly seeks direction from The Lord.  She continues to fellowship with other ministries around the North Carolina region and across the nation building unity amongst the body of Christ.   Her message and ministry continues to impact lives, and grow the Kingdom. 

Pastor Betite says that she didn't need to continue her theological studies as God has given her a PHD, a degree in Preaching Healing and Deliverance.  Pastor Prophetess Betite Parrish is soon being elevated by God to Apostleship as she is birthing churches.  She has been commissioned by God not only to preach the gospel, but to teach His people faith by precept and example, pray the prayer of faith, provide faith-based Biblical counsel, and have an environment that encourages believers to grow spiritually.
Behind her smile is a testimony of hardship, tragedy, poverty, but most importantly of triumph and overcoming. Despite life struggles, she continues to say “and We Give the Lord Praise”; She always “Keeps it moving”; She tells her congregation to “Just do it” and she never “lets the Devil stop her flow!”
Pastor Prophetess Betite Parrish truly has Agape love and compassion for people and works daily as the hands, feet and mouthpiece for God.

​Children's ministry – Including:
-The Flag Troop – encouraging young people to praise God through movement with flags.
​The flags are waved as a sign of worship, also to rally the troops to spiritual warfare, to open personal communication with God, to minister to the Lord, give Him Glory, honor and praise
-The Children’s Choir
-Children’s Service – every 5th Sunday

Women's ministry –including:

​- Soft Clay Sisters – a class that uses scriptural support to teach and encourage women how to obtain and maintain a mind of Christ and grow in their spiritual life in their everyday walk and life. 
-Women in Prayer – First Saturday of each month, the women of the church gather together on one accord for corporate prayer 

CHURCH HISTORY

​The Lord spoke to her and said He was going to use her to give hope to people that others have given up on, by giving them a second chance.  He then said that He was going to restore to them everything that the devil had taken; and be the center of their being.  He is truly a God of a Second Chance.  When she told her husband, Pastor Daniel what the Lord had instructed her to do, they were in agreement to do as the Lord had instructed and shortly thereafter, they started this ministry in Daytona Beach, Florida in their living Room. There were only just two services. Then in August of 2008, with just three members: Pastor Betite, Pastor Daniel and Sister Sylvia, they moved to Greensboro NC. There were family members, the Knights Family and Brother Gerald already in the North Carolina Triad area preparing with Lord for their arrival.  
And so Second Chance Restoration Ministries was birthed in a small apartment located in a community called Adams Farm.  Now in its Eighth year, the ministry has grown from just a handful of members to a congregation of more than a hundred members. “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7. We have seen growth not in just membership number but in spiritual growth and maturity in our congregation.  We are so thankful for the mission God has given this church. We are thankful for the mission God has given this church. He has commissioned us to preach the gospel; teach His people faith by precept and by example; pray the prayer of faith; heal the sick; feed the hungry sheep; establish a vibrant missions program; provide faith-based biblical counsel; have an environment where believers can grow spiritually.  The Lord will use the Ministry of Evangelism to bring increase to this ministry.  As Jesus said in Luke 14:23: “And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out unto the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”  It is our desire that Second Chance Restoration Ministries will be filled.
